ESTABLISHMENT:
Andhra Pradesh Police Academy established in 1986 at SAR CPL, Amberpet at the time we have around 15 vehicles for transportation after that in the year of 1995 Academy was shifted to Lush green hiloks in the Himayathsagr, Hyderabad. The Andhra Pradesh Police Academy spared over sprawling 148 acars is the located above 25 Kms from Hyderabad City. At that time the fleet strength is 25 vehicles.

Year wise the vehicle strength has been enhanced. Received the various type of vehicles from PTO under strengthening of vehicles and MOP grants and AND at present the total vehicle strength is146.

LOCATION:
MT wing situated in the cellar of Amenties Block, the senior officers vehicles, Guest vehicles and faculty vehicles are parked under proper shelter. Provided rooms for mechanic, technical Sis and rest room for drivers and separate room for MTO.

AMENITIES:
Constructed the washing bay for cleaning the vehicles and air compressor hydraulic jocks and tools for mechanic to attend the minor repairs at unit level.

MY MOTTO:
The Academy provides different types of convinents for senior officers, junior officers and trainees to travel from one place to other for official purpose. Transport is being provided to the guest faculty visiting dignitaries, for foreign police officers. TS Police Academy has fleet of 146 vehicles i.e. Heavy Vehicles- 06, Medium Vehicles- 08, Light Vehicles-87, Two wheelers-44, Auto Rikshaw-01.

All transport is also provided to the trainees during the field visit for pickuping them up from the Railway station/ Bus station. And also in dropping them at Bus station and Railway stations. The school bus is also allotted for children of the staff who resides at this academy. There is an earmarked vehicle for the staff of the academy all the staff assemble at the Uppal Bus stop and are brought to the Academy by bus. And are dropped in the evening.
